Fellow UO Addicts,


In the light of the changes being made, and myself being the only one looking out for alot of your interests as far as the accomplishments you've made in terms of your towns, your items, and your luxurious homes. I regret to inform you that I, Malekii, will be stepping down from my position as Counselor. While my ride as a staff member here was short, I enjoyed riding it with you.

While some of you may not be hurt by my departure, I know a fair share will be, as I'm always here for helping with pages provided I had the power for the situation. Never forget, my intention, my dedication to ZHFactions, was always lying with you.

There will most likely be an item wipe when the 2nd Age begins. You're the player, you're the customer for this shard. The customer is always right, remember? If you don't want one, if you enjoy your town, your items, your houses. Then fight it, protest it, boycott it. Don't bend over, don't back down, do not buckle or crumble. Throw aside you differences and unite, make yourselves heard, there are ways to get players to come here that don't involve ruining the empires you all so dedicatedly built from the ground. DO NOT BE TORN DOWN!

is this concept familiar to you?
you are pretty much depending on the rich to give their now rare items to newbies. It's a good idea and we had it on the last two servers, sure. but i don't think it'd do much to even out loot like a wipe would.


it's not just a wipe to even out loot anyway. it's to organize people in minoc until the server population grows enough to have player towns. As it is, most new players run to britain and minoc, find the server dead, and log.

Players that are willing to help the new players by setting up them wiht a place to macro, to gear them, and shit like that. didnt think i had to explain myself on a common sense comment on good players lol.

I'm sorry to the players this will upset. I knew an item wipe would make some players leave, but I nevertheless see it as being in the best interests of the shard, and that's more important than anything to me. If we kept going, without a big change like this, we would've continued to lose players until you dramatic posters here lost interest too, like everyone else was.

I have 415 str base right now and loads of items I don't use and I am sure as hell not whining and quitting like a baby.

Well said back in the 'old school' days of UO (90s/early 00s) stuff like this happened all the time and it was always the better persons that came back, rid of the whingers is better for the shard, ppl are like '3 months of hard work' back in the old days it pretty much took 6 months to a year to have a decent enough character, its alot easier now than it was 10 years ago with all these macro programs, item wipe makes it good because it gives u reason to hunt again, its not like ur house is on fire and u lost everything, its a game! toughen up, suck it up!
