I always thought that potential PK betrayals in dungeon groups made things interesting. Can't say it's happened too many times, but when it did it was certainly more hilarious that repetitive hunting bullshit. On a different server, I was in a guild that became probably the richest on the server and two or three people basically controlled the funds. The level of butthurt that came when one guy just took it all, rare shrouds etc.. was awesome. Accepting help to retrieve your corpse just to have the guy loot the whole thing was pretty fucking enraging, but made you all the wary about who you trust and made your hard-earned items seem all the more valuable. If people want to play alone, though, they should definitely be able to do that.

Having just one makes the game seem... I don't know. A bit more personal, I guess. That's exactly why we have the 1 client per IP rule. The rule is in place to make people identify with their characters more and care about them more, which makes them play for longer and not abuse bugs that will get their only character jailed/banned whilst playing and turn others off simultaneously. I think, on the whole, this strategy has worked so far and upon consideration I don't want to change it. edit: I'm one of the few left who actually played on the original ZH hosted in Calgary in the late 90s (and I should say, Jester is another oldie, the guy saying he's a newbie is 110% wrong to a hilarious degree). Back then on ZH2 almost everyone had only the 1 character and identified completely with that character because there were no classes. I recognise that the existence of classes now changes that dynamic, but I think it's beneficial to keep the 1 client per IP rule for the reasons I wrote above.

imho, dualclienting hunting is perversion - either hunt alone or hunt with some1, not this push-pull playing plus i have beated out of dek what i needed, so i pick #1

This is an MMO. Their are dungeons being designed here that are made for groups or 4 or more. Having multiple characters and multiple accounts hurts the people who don't have the time, or the interest in macroing multiple characters. I know many people who only like to play one class, and rely on others to do different things for them. I, being a crafter, have to rely on guild mates, and other people to supply me with items to help make them better armor. Through diplomacy and old-fashioned conversation I've secured myself a great group of guys that I craft for. I provide them services, and in return they find items while hunting that help me make them better armor. I started here with nothing, and am already a lvl 3 crafter in less than 3 weeks. It's all about how you play the game. In closing, if you just want to macro up 8 characters and play 3 of them by yourself, maybe you're just not getting the full experience of a zh shard. Try putting a little faith in someone. If you get burned, you know not to trust that person again. Then come to me if you need armor. Just my opinion. Shane

dunno shane, havent seen those dungeons all tricks t hat i used on zh3 still apply and yo u can solo pretty much everything, if u use ur brai na bit tho there are some diffrences, but the end of zh3 many of shortcuts that i used were fixed and hunting became much more harder for me, that was one of the reason that by unofficial zh4 is were msotly staffing - got bored + its became considerably harder
