It doesn't seem like this shard is gear towards new players except for the no-PK mines and newbie dungeon... which is VERY limited. I really want the shard to grow!
Also... running around certain areas that I will not name, there are random high damage dealing mobs such as behmoths and great wyrms RANDOMLY spawned. I hope no newbie has had to deal with such random monsters... I don't think this promotes shard growth.. just macro macro macro. It seems like this shard is geared towards people who already know the zh system and not towards completel newbies. I dunno if anyone cares but I hope the shard starts growing.

I noticed as a newb that the moongate to Britain was usually guarded by some kind of nasty that I had to run away from. Just yesterday there was an evil spellbook just a screen south.
In regards to new players - instead of focusing on bringing more here we need to think about retaining the ones that we have. There is a good base of people but they get bored because no one is ever 'here'.
From experience I would have to say that the number one shard killer is unlimited macro. There is nothing more depressing than seeing a huge number of people logged on and no one is 'alive'. I would rather it took me a year of leveling and actually interacting with people to get a character to max level (because then we make friends and have a reason to come back) than to wake up in a month with everything maxed and run around killing high level spawn. That gets old really quickly and therefore people leave.
If you work for something and help make it what it becomes then your have pride in it and take care of it.

Caio and I have experienced these random high damage monsters for quite a long time by now. I still don't know if it is the monsters that are bugged or the chars, HelloKittie. Because, sometimes while our war was taking overpowered damage from the same Behemonth that I didn't. At that day you guys killed me in the new dungeon, the war was already dead because the GD took 90% of his life in one single hit, lol (yes, he was boosted +120 str at least and with lvl 4 melee). That was the last time we faced this problem. I guess it occurs more often, or only, in the new dungeon since all the times we faced it we were there.

this is a wierd issue, seems like melle dmg from mobs are 4times more powerful then their suppose to be. i have noticed this as well maybe 3 or 4 times now. behmoths 3 hit a 300str lvl 5 warrior with 150 parry, silver drag 2 hits. not sure if it happens before or after a restart yet i havent been paying much attention to it. lately. but you are right

Yeah, or maybe activating accounts would be a good idea... mine still dose'nt work and it's been like 20 hours
Anyhow fusionning shard has always been a good idea, a bigger staff base and a bigger player base is a must, but from what I've seen these past years, no server has had the will to fuse with another, it oftens means too much from both parties, Still, I can guarantee that cooperation makes things much better and easyer, it would depend on what this servers owner ready to do, from what I understand fantasia has some good scripts, devoted staff and developpers but a shitty ISP. I heard they were gonna fix that soon, but what does soon mean when we had to wait over a year and a half for a diablo patch (It was announced to be released a year and a half prior to it's actual release!) Seriously Blizzard sucked some big cocks on that one.

I saw new player high at 48! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBOI We had 50 yesterday for a short time. What's really good is that the number of unique IPs online is growing too, from an average of 18-22ish to 27+. As I'm typing this we have 35 IPs online and 48 players, and really that's the indicator of activity that's most important. If we can keep everyone voting daily on the Top 100/200 we can achieve sustained growth.
We aren't going to merge with Fantasia. Edwards offered in the past and I declined.

Or I might have a problem with my files, either way I can't really figure out what's wrong.... I installed uo, put the files and tryed logging in with the newlymade account.
