2. To a Goblin, complexity is a goal in and of itself. Goblins tend to overcomplicate simple plans.
3. Goblins leave no dog unkicked. Goblins are cruel often for the sake of cruelty alone, and to make themselves feel more important.
4. There is room in those skulls for only one idea at a time; Goblins are simple minded to a fault, and this makes them both relentless and obsessive.

Goblins have a love of mirrors (even the simplier goblins of lesser intelligence can be somewhat beholden to mirrors and the problem gets worse as the goblin in question is smarter). Goblins prefer broken mirrors so that they can see several of their reflection. Goblins are overly proud of their plans and asperations, of their fabled king, and their cruel machinations, this is quite often their undoing.
