So I'm going to make a thief.

I work a lot and I need something to macro safely while I'm at work.

Anyone have a guide for thief?

Lol there are no bags to snoop from and there are no thief gloves to steal with lol

i think snooping/stealing is disabled in this core if i remember right

anyways, pick those two, do hiding/stealth/detect until lvl1, then do poisoning? Good luck with lockpicking/remove trap...

Snoop/steal should be enabled. We did a load of testing with 'Zero' playing as a spec thief - who crashed the shard multiple times due to his manipulative macro techniques

There is a Thief Vendor in Minoc in one of those little huts, either the ones South of the Bank or the ones to the East next to the sea.

Lockpicking requires locked brass boxes made by various spec level crafters, so if you have your own crafter you need to make a spec 1 box.. then a spec 2.. and so on and just keep picking it and then locking it until your gain gets slow then move up to the next spec level of boxes

Remove trap you train some magery, to 50 and maybe 50 med, cast magic trap on a box, then use the remove trap skill.

Poisoning with deadly poison is much like Lockpicking, you require deadly (and greater poisons) from various spec level mage. So spec 1 dp.. spec 2 dp..

Hiding/stealth/detect are all straight forward, except if you get a high spec mage to magic trap containers you can stack them inside your house or somewhere else where decay is not an issue and it will increase your detect hidden gains.

for stealing/snooping I'd have to suggest taking both of those at 50 and work on maxing out your other skills out as it is very difficult to get stealing/snooping to function properly in pol095.
