Just thought I'd start a discussion on the possibility of starting 'Faction Wars' whereby Factions who are located as neighbours on the World Map can declare war on each other and eventually destroy or conquer and control other peoples hard-worked towns!
The only problem is, maybe the town builders don't want their hard work and money destroyed... I dunno.
Here's the old regulations I drew up but disgarded:

Player Town War Guidelines
Factions who control towns can declare war against their neighbours and destroy or capture towns controlled by other factions!
- Factions may only attack those towns in geographical proximity to towns they already control.
- Any players who wish to fight for a particular town must be citizens of that town and have the 'of <town name>' (e.g. Prometheus 'of Minoc') as part of their name.
- Each player who participates must register themselves as fighting for one particular faction with a staff member and the war will last for up to 2 weeks.
- Fighters for both factions must collect the heads of their opponents by skinning bodies after they die.
- After the regulation 2 weeks of fighting a staff member will count up all the heads from either side. Whoever has the most heads will win.

- If the attacker wins the war, they can choose to either take 2 amenities (e.g. Guarded Protection, NPCs), that the loser town owns, for themselves. Take a negotiated sum of money from the loser town (negotiated by the leaders of each faction). Or the attacking town may choose to conquer and absorb the town into its faction's assets or destroy the losing town entirely.
- If the defending town wins the war, they can choose to take up to 4 amenities from any town of the faction who attacked them.
- A list of participating players in each war will be kept by Staff Members. A player must only fight one war at a time and must therefore only be a citizen of one city for each 2 week period. If a player fights for 2 towns within the same period they will be excluded from both and the war called a draw.
