One thing i found interesting on other shards that increases PvP and hunting is a power hour, like have 1 power hour every 12 hours. Which would include a faster skill gain and a higher chance of awesome loot. Just throwing out the idea, feel free to comment or add to that idea.

Shittiest? You must've lived a sheltered UO life. There were/are far worse servers than Unreal was. Anything ran with the Sphere core, for example, the servercore eats mounts one in awhile, I don't mean like the random "horse turned into ship tile" issue POL servers get, I mean literally, peace out ostard. Oh, and quite a few of the RunUO core servers are rather shitty, free handouts for joining? Why play them when they give you the best upon first login. Research prior to bashing servers <3.

Dude it was a damn suggestion, not for you go bashing on it. And unreal was a bad ass shard. Yeah the items may have been a bit ridiculous and unrealistic, but besides that it was run damn good until Jason (Montuz) couldnt keep up with it..After Jason it was ran into the ground. And im not talking about bringing back all them items, i was just suggesting 1 hour every 12 hours of skill gain a bit faster and better loot..thats all

-sigh- I hate pretentious white boys that say "nigg" and whatnot. As for "this is a zh server' this is a POL server, zh is not a core. You're the one who started speaking of other servers, remember? Power hour isn't such a horrible idea, zhfactions is competing with thousands of servers with similar offers, apart from the oldschool feel, would it hurt to have another little gem to attract a larger playerbase? I too, was staff on UUO, albeit, after you left (lucky for me), I can assure you, when I was staff, things were ran differently... ran smoother. CR had a power hour and ran rather successfully for awhile. Anyway, my talking and negotiating is falling on blind eyes, internet tough guys don't listen to reason.
-EDIT- As for my mentioning other servercores, just giving examples of shittier servers, learn to read, pretentious whiteboy.

Actually im not offended, and i too was a gm on UUO. cant remember my character name now cause its been such a long ass time lol..But i agree with fayt, its an attraction.

Actually a "power hour" in which skill gain is set to zero would get more people out of their houses and hunting imho  Either way it's a nice idea with good intentions, but unrealistic and I'd just prefer not to have it here. |
