Some form of BODs would encourage more people to have a crafting character. Some rewards from these BODs could be anything from deco, to crafter clothing (on-top of or instead of drops), or even special armor and weapons.. Lets say instead of a Kryss of Devastation from drops, you get a Mighty Kryss of Devastation, which would be the same as the regular one, but have it add a few pts of str.
Or, what I think would be a better bit, would be maybe add a quest NPC that gives something like a quest book, and you have to combine the items to the book (like you would be doing to add them to a BOD), and have a delay of 24hrs from turning in the book before you can pick up the quest again. This would prevent you from collecting something like 500 BODs and selling them, or turning them all in at once and flooding the market instantaneously with all the quest rewards.

Cash rewards, ore log rewards, thats it. You're a crafter to provide for the warriors, rangers, pps, not to fight shit, want to fight, make a warrior or something.
