So... When your Z coordinate differs from banker's (for example) Z coordinate it wouldn't respond your requests - you will cry as hell BANK BANK and BANK again and nothing happens... So, what I'm speaking about - when you got your own town and want redecorate it a little bit (specifically - to add carpets) you should replace you banker or any vendor NPC, cause carpet changes your Z by 1. In your small wooden house you got Z==7. On carpet Z==8. So, what to do if I want NPC to be not on carpet but all the rest part of the floor covered with carpets? Ok, I'll put carpet under my NPC too, but every time I'm gonna do it I should ask for GM to help me and recreate NPC (cause it wouldn't change Z itself if it doesn't move). What is my suggestion - let NPC respond even if YourZ<>NPCZ. Smth like If YourZ<=NPCZ+n or YourZ>=NPCZ-n where n==1 (or 2, 3, 5, even 10) it's ok and NPC will respond. (We should not completely remove Z check, cause this way NPCs at same X and Y, but on different floors will try to respond at same time and you will not be able to chose that one you need).
P.S. sorry for me english

In Sacrifice I placed a banker on top of some sandstone blocks and it didn't respond too, so I know where you're coming from. What I can do is just sink the banker into the floor, underneath the carpet, and it wont actually look much different.
