I'm just wondering whats the total feel for the economy on the shard. Playing for a few days now it seems like its very easy to get decent single mod even double mod items for less then 50k, even though many have tons of gold or even no need for it save for towns. I havn't seen much, will call it, "epic" gear being traded for gold; this would include I think any grandmaster skill + tier 6 protection item (+ stat boost?) - as I would think would be the toughest to find. GM weapons/Armor which I thought was the pinnacle of weaponry seems to have gave way to swift+devastating weapons/Exceptionally crafted items. Arrows seem to be the commodity of trade at the moment with everyone building second characters to be rangers. The new ores seem to not of hit the market as of yet, but I'm going to assume these will be of high value in the weeks to come, with a lot of new players or old players starting to macro crafters. Obviously every shard has a differn't economy and I find everyone unique, this along with many other things is one reason I love Ultima. The way the player economy works is fascinating. Ultimatly I feel the economy in game is what drives the game itself since trade is a vital part of UO. I would like to get others input on the "state of the economy" if you wouldn't mind posting what circumstances ZHF is at and where it will go from here.

Try impossible, no item can have 2 suffixes.

Would be sweet to get a magister's grandmaster mage's necklace of the snake handler though <3 Even if it is an impossible dream...

Yea that makes sense. And I'm only considering a few GM items Epic seeing how some of them such as Lynx bard and Dekars Schim are so easy to get.

You can call me newbie, but I consider lvl 6 prots to be epic and they seem to be really easy to get. The problem with easy lvl 6 prots is that pvp and pvm will be a bit unballanced (the flawless moonstone thing would be a good example of that, mainly without those blackrock weapons, which are overpowered and I hope were removed from the loot).

1. This shard is for PvP, so that'd be the reason why items are easy to get, to encourage people pvping with their gears on.
2. GM weapons are mostly used by PP, to be able to cast while pvping, else they will be replaced by a stygiant weapon. You will rarely see a warrior using a GM weap. And there is no doubt I would replace a kieri for a kings stygiant dev kryss.
3. The economy ain't about money, but depending on the player's items needed. The only reason we have a "ghost" economy is because people are too lazy to trade. Most of the people will loot what they need and leave the rest on the monsters.
4. What would be a first would be new items, new prefixes and new monsters, and I think that would up the shard's economy.

Now we got such impressive loot, that it easer to enter dungeon and get needed item from balron, then to ask somebody for trade. Really. My first days here I've bought such a lot of +6 crafter skill mods for 10-15k each, that I don't need to trade anymore till total wipe...
