What's the deal on the Power Player Class here?
Three levels? Bonus granted across the board for that level?

Hardly, since they were supposed to have all classes pros but no cons.

In the long term I hope to script a system that lets Power Players choose which class they are. So if they have Spec 4 Mage skills, they can choose to be a spec 4 mage, and if they have Spec 2 Warrior skills, they can choose to have those etc. They can change whenever they like, so long as the skill base is there.
Giving advantages on all skills for being a PP though is a bonus that is too big though imho.

As I said, PP level 1 was supposed to be spec 1 in all classes and so forth, wich is why level 3 was cap, seeing as they would be warrior that could buff like a level 3 mage, be very profficient in shooting arrows at shit while also poisoning, barding and crafting at a third degree level..

That would make PPs the undisputed leaders of the shard though, and just from a game-play perspective it's important to keep things relatively balanced.
In the same way, making an almighty weapon that was better than others would make everyone use only that weapon. It's better and more interesting if there's diversity, and the prospect of having to train up an almighty PP, which would take the best part of an entire year of training, doesn't appeal to everyone.

I love the idea of a switching system for PPs...

The way I've seen it done on another server using level 6 (150 points on all skills) cap for all other characters was this: when the PowerPlayer had enough skill points to equal level 2 in all other classes combined, that character gained a level 1 boost. Since level 6 was cap for the classes, a "level 6 PowerPlayer" with 150 on ALL skills would gain a boost for each class as if it were level 3. It gave them a boost, so the PowerPlayer wasn't just unclassed and strong, but the boost was not so strong that you could just go around destroying everyone and everything in your way. Plus, hitting ALL skills that high is not such an easy task...

i would say to keep pp's the way they r with no boost cause if your gonna play a pp u know how to use them and how good they r so there is no need to boost them
