For people that like saying they know so much about the Ol Zulu Hotel days...
The Original ZuluHotel gave people boosts, idiots.
You would start with attributes of 1 at 100 and any 3 skills at 130.
I'd say with that in mind, NOT giving boosts from the start is spitting in some direction...

Youre probably thinking about CR.

ya man zuluhotel canada i think was the first 13 years ago and u started from scratch nwith a 130 cap for everything and no class systems, all based from osi, then the class system when they added Gm items to boost plus 6 to get to lvl 5.

Actually ZH1 started with no boosts and something like a 200 skill cap. ZH2 reduced it to 130. ZH3 introduced classes the first time.

there were no boosts until cheap money hungry shards came like chaotic realm and we all got spoiled and payed for skills and items, then moved on to other shards to pick 3 skills to cap and spar for 2 days done. theres no fun in that, atleast here if u know whta ur doing then u show off by emerging as a top playing with ur witty tricks and ways of raising skills.

I agree aswell, you want player interaction, get rid of the huge stock of reags/arrows/scrolls etc.. And get rid of the no pk zones because the minoc mine is causing huge inflation.. Is there someone with an economic background on the server? Lol, we need you

agree to lowering stocks (at least 3 times less stuff should be sold) and minoc mine are should be no pk zone - always was and always should be this way but prohbig to macro there any other skills that crafters

You cant have economy with a constant source of gold... This is how any game economy works... IE:Monsters always provide a constant inflow of gold and resources are not limited... There will always be huge inflation then.

It's why money-sinks are introduced, like paying to repair your gear after every raid.
Atm there's a constant inflow of gold, mainly from crafting. Players trading with eachother doesn't remove money from the game, so only buying from vendors makes gold flow out of the circle.
To decrease inflation, money needs to disappear almost at the same rate it is created. An upkeep system for houses/towns/boats etc might be one way. Ideally, a script tracks the total amount of gold/certain items in the world, and adjusts NPC buying prices accordingly. Try to sell that second chest of 3 million iron bars? They wil pay less than for the first batch.

I remember back in the day vendors didn't have unlimited money to buy items, if they were limited to only being able to buy 10k worth of junk it may prove useful. Players who sell to vendors for cash will be forced to sell to other vendors cross world.

Khem, Zuluhote "first" WAS the ZuluHotel Canada. it all started with Parker, other ZH shards came later. And original zh NEVER had any skills/stat boost. For some time starting chars got assorted assorted amount of skill pts in every skill(usually 10-20 pts), but later it was removed due to wide use of classes and a little inconviniance to need to remvoe all those excessive skills to get ur spec up and running.

Zulu Hotel QUEENS was FIRST it was started by Peter who later became Spider man. He first had no skills at all, but later was bite by a nuclear spider which allowed him super powers. He used these powers to wrestle, but later decided that with great power comes great responsibility and due to the inconvenience of his aunt he has to pretend he is a nerd science boy all the time.

I thought it was this guy Marty who had this crazy uncle/friend scientist, who invented this car powered by nuclear fusion. Then something happened and he needed 1 billion electrovolts to get back to the future.
