I've rearranged the telepads in some dungeons so that players get ported to towns where people actually live and there are actually vendors/healers/bankers!
Covetous - Minoc & Outlands
Despise - Avaron
Wrong - Minoc, Outlands & Avaron
Shame - Yew
Destard - Northlands
I did have it set up so that mayors could purchase telepads inside of dungeons, but realistically I think it's best for the shard if the option is there for free.
For starters it makes no sense to port someone to a dungeon town like Skara Brae or Trinsic, or an empty town like Cove! But also it takes players to places where there's services for them and helps bring players together too.

i dwell in Britain/Minax (its a sentimental thing)
can i elect myself a mayor(in 3 days ive seen only 2 ppl in town besides me, so it would be a really short list of candidates i guess) and get a pad ?

I've been in brit too. Not having any luck finding anybody to join up with or spar with so I'm going out solo. Maybe we should get together and run brit  |

At the moment I'm drawing up new rules for player towns, so once those are in place (probably once we start the 2nd Age in a few weeks time) you'll be able to take control of Britain. 'Lip' is currently the mayor, technically, but like Wyndor in Cove he's pretty much disappeared. Most of the new rules regarding player towns will be there to test player dedication to the town before we go ahead and set them up: - How many players will be involved in the town - must be above a certain amount.
- How long have the players lived in that town (sparred, owned a house, raised skills there) - must be above a certain time frame.

hmm, had an idea today, when was gutting my pc
what about having an area, like that class selection one, with pads that lead to every town townstone and to main entrance of every dungeon
accesible by tickets - either automaticly removable(ticket) from backpack after stepping on a pad or by click-on-ticket-click on-pad
tickets sold by ticket npc for a 1k-5k(or maybe more, havent figured out so far money earning rate) - wanna get fast somewhere - pay for it (dayly ticket - price: 10*single ticket, weekly - 50*singel ticket).
hmm, now when i think about it, pretty stupid idea actually
btw, about mayor thingie, elections should be held weekly
