I have noticed we have less players on average as before
so would like to make a few suggestions
1) Expand the newbie dungeon take what you have now and make it so a player who just starts can run in and survive take what you blocked off and make it so they need to be close to spec one
2) Make it so Player towns can purchase a warrior for hire this will help in a couple of ways first it will gave new players another reason to join a P town and will cut down on the individual ones
3) Sell Minoc to a crafters union that allows only crafters so the town maybe developed ( I would of course drop the vendors in town down to 1 of each or none if i did this ) and keep it a neutral town this would put more players in the town that most new players start in and with fewer vendors in minoc players will have to go to P towns to get there supplys or buy from players and adds to the selling point for the P towns
4) I have seen alot on recalling on both the forums and in game here is yet another suggestion on the subject a Travel merchant ( Maybe some Demon or Non player race ) that will send you to a single spot (or some times instead you land in the middle of a random dungeon ) for a large amount of gold ( 10 or 20K ) and that spot has to be the closet town or within the same faction and Maybe an allied town
This is a and/or selling a scroll that allows recall back to the merchant but only has 1-2 every 8 hrs or longer and costs double (20 or 40K of course with the same chance of instead ending up in a random dungeon )
And lastly Limiting the number of mechants to 1-2 plus number of towns in factions and costing 3-6 mill plus an aditional 3-6 to sell the scrolls
5) Here is a easy why to get players to join player towns lockable doors and gates put them on your vendors and town features maybe lockable gates on the city walls
