Looks like the **third server** we've tried IS ALSO CRASHING.
What's interesting is that I was remotely connected to the original server when the new server crashed and BOTH disconnected (this has happened twice now).
This means it's a problem inherent to the host, because both servers are located on the same VPS host. Which means I'm now going to look for a completely new host and hopefully migrate again tomorrow or Friday.
Personally, for me, being a host/scripter/admin who has overcome endless streams of other bullshit, it's absolutely soul destroying that the one thing that's out of my hands (the server) is fucking up. I hope enough of you can keep the faith long enough to endure this crap, because it's not something I'm going to give up on, this shard will always be here and we will eventually be crashing/disconnection free!

I think indeed that the trouble are entirely related with the connection. After dozens of disconnects, I have yet to see a warp or other indications of server overload/crashing.
Moving away from this VPS is then definitely the way to go from here.
I'm not one to leave because of temporary issues that are obviously being worked on, I'll stick around.
Having said that, it does seem to be getting worse by the hour, so I hope there's a good VPS out there for us.
Also, I wouldn't say back to square one. The shard is up, scripted and running, just needs to be moved. You found out that staying at this host is not an option, so, time for the next step.

We'll test another server tomorrow. You don't need to change anything. All reports will be logged here so you'll know if stuff happens.
I haven't been able to get online the last two nights for various reasons, otherwise we'd have done it already.
