I would not take too much pride in being 'skilled' in pvp on this system, its horribly old, and some of the people here are known speedhackers.

a pp def needs to be able to use magic when fighting, the only way a pp on most shards will win, is by casting dispel, curse weaken and then mindblast while u are hitting the person with a stygian dev kryss or bloody wep, and u will basically insta kill a warrior, and u need a sages robe to curse more thne 30 and weaken more then 50. with 120 magery+ only use swords or fencing, 2 fastest wep types katanas and kyrss. archery. thats about it, never use a bow agaisnt anyone other then a mage, and then only if ur blessed. otherwise use a spear against the mage, and a warrior and ranger always use a shield, gm shield preferable, so u can cast magic the same time relpor on to rangers work excellent, so u never give them a gap to 3 hit u. and try to have 140 plus swords parry magery or fencing. lol that about sums up how to pvp now just figure out how to use all this against ppl. making hot keys and knowing where they are.

mindblast is the strongest spell to use on warriors and kinda works good on rangers if u have higher intel. but rangers can cast magic reflect and wear moonstone items so be aware, not that youll see anyone with a moonstone item but just be aware

You'll need experience to be a proper pvper.. Wouldn't get my hopes up though, most people still suck after playing this game for 10 years.
You did however make a good choice picking a PP, when knowing how to play one you'll be a superior pvper, not to mention they are the most fun playing.
But again, yet to see any good pvpers here.

Thanks for tips everyone. cealdor: I used to be pretty decent at T2A pvp (played on metropolis for a while). But until recently I always played a warrior on zulu shards so this PP thing is new to me

Listen little boy, if you don't like getting killed don't macro 2 screens away from somebody's guild tower.
PKing is part of the game, and you were the only person online not AFK in their house. Sorry you're an idiot and macroed outside, you can have your 5k bandies back if you're really that upset about it bro.

on zulu shards because of the class system, lvl 5 rangers and warriors are the best to pvp, expecially if your lucky enough to find the items, mods weps and prots. on this shard warriors are the best because of the regional ores that give lvl 4 prots and free action. so hunting is super easy with a lvl 5 warrior therefor finding the mods is easier too, and any warrior can kill anyone 1 on 1 just stay away from the mages in open areas

You're wrong river rat. Ranger is the most op class right now. Warriors without blackrock and poison is pretty useless in pvp. A ranger(with enough magery to dispell), Mage or a PP can kill a warrior sooo easily on this server.
