so somebody quits, account goes elsewhere, but when he wants to come back, and sees that account is gone, he wants to return it.
let me ask u, what is the point of asining an email to the account? isnt it for password retrival?

I'm guessing that staff didn't hand out your pw.
If you've given your account info away it's your own fault. Don't give your info to people you don't know/don't trust. You can't seriously expect to come back and just have the account taken off whoever you gave it too. It's not their fault.

The new owner has made that character their own. u know, their is a difference between giving a character away to a person, and to give the acc and pass away on .chat while being pissed. and i give 100% that the person who took it didnt even use it for a long time, as he was afraid that ppl will come back and take the account back. it always a possibility when u take someones account, and u never friend the character to the house, etc. but really, not to give the password to the original owner, thats something new to me. |

There's not really a difference, one is just using rage as an excuse. Nobody forced him to give his accounts away. However, there is a difference between getting hacked, and giving your account away - in which case, yes, an account would be restored. i guess the lesson is, Don't rage over video games? Same to you buddy. |

The new owner plays the account regularly, otherwise I probably would give it back.
If you're unable to make a new account because of the IP check just message me and I'll make a new one for you manually.
You broadcast the user/pass of a lvl 4 ranger and someone will make use of it, that goes without explanation obviously. Returning to the shard all pissed off nearly 2 months later on top of that... it's a pretty open and shut case, usually a staff member's decisions can be a lot more difficult but I've never been so certain.
